"Hokkori" (ほっこり) is a Japanese word for the feeling of gentle warmth inside — like wrapping your hands around a hot mug.

## What it is

- A pomodoro timer wrapped in a cozy pixel-art room. Start a focus session and the room responds: day turns to night, rain falls against the window while you work. A pixel cat or husky keeps you company.
- A window onto the real world: pick any city and the window shows that city's live weather — rain, snow, fog, storms, wind swaying the trees — with day and night following the city's real sunrise and sunset, seasonal touches like sakura and autumn leaves, and aurora on clear far-north winter nights. Bangkok, Tokyo, London, Reykjavík, New York, and Sydney get hand-drawn landmark views; every other city gets a climate-matched view.
- A 3-channel ambient sound mixer: rain, fire, lofi. Rain and fire play real recordings (Pixabay, 40-second loops) with a synthesized fallback so the room still sounds alive offline; the lofi channel plays three Pixabay tracks or a synthesized lo-fi pad; session chimes are synthesized with the Web Audio API. There is no wind audio — wind is a visual effect in the window.
- Tasks, focus stats, and streaks, stored privately in the user's own browser (localStorage). Data can be exported anytime.
